Sponsored by an international healthcare IT and device company, I have been tasked to design, develop, and evaluate a tool to improve patient data input processes with three other MHCI students.
To show the user research process on the final report and presentation, I designed maps and diagrams to visualize research data documenting facilities and staff members at the various locations our team visited.
In order to give the audience an overview of the modalities in the cardiology department, I designed a series of timeline diagrams with artwork to show the workflows before, during, and after each procedure.

Web Design Works
Role:
Tool: Fireworks, Photoshop
Date: March 2009 — September 2009
I started doing web desig since 2008. As a sophomore, I was amazed by how perfectly web design can combine creativity and functionality.
I taught myself designing usable websites, handcoding HTML/CSS. To gain more hands-on experience, I joined the Web Development Lab as the only web designer in 2008. After getting familiar with the tools and the knowledge, I started designing websites for real-world clients and customers in Yizin, a IT start-up in Beijing.
Please check out the collection book to view my web design works during that time. The book is a collage of website screenshots I created for several projects. Most of them are social media websites.
